Enhance Health and Wellness in Schools with the Integrated School Health Programme
Program Overview:
The Integrated School Health Programme (ISHP) offers a comprehensive and integrated package of services, including sexual and reproductive health services for older learners. The Health Services Package for the ISHP includes a large component of health education for each of the four school phases, health screening and onsite services such as deworming and immunisation. The ISHP services contribute to the health and well-being of learners by screening them for health barriers to learning. This course seeks to prepare Community Health promoters (CHP) to conduct basic health assessments for learners at primary and secondary schools, give health education and refer sick learners to primary health settings to facilitate the continuation of care within a comprehensive framework of the National Health System.

(i)    visualizing and applying basic drafting fundamentals,
(ii)    Preparing and editing engineering drawings.
(iii)   Explaining the concepts and underlying theory of modelling and the usage of models in different engineering applications.
(iv)   Producing CAD drawings (creating accurate and precise geometry of complex engineering systems and use the geometric models in different engineering applications).
Learners are expected to play active role in product design and development processes as well as prototyping. Based on this training, they will be able to demonstrate proficiency in the concepts of computer-aided manufacturing and a number of applied associated processes; and understand, explain, and apply the basic concepts of CNC programming and machining.
